We have an exciting opportunity for a talented full-time Floor Finisher to join our fun and vibrant team in Australia, based out of our Geelong location.

About the role
The role sees you working onsite as a Floor Finisher to support the installation and maintenance of our quality-engineered timber products. The position requires an all-rounder with a broad range of skills who can deliver our products and services to the standard of excellence we are known for. You will be working with industry leaders, paying close attention to detail, and finished results are imperative to success working with us. Job requirements include working in a small team across various locations throughout the week, local travel, and regular ongoing use of power tools.
Tasks Include
Providing estimates/quotes to clients based on measurements, products, and materials
Site preparation includes removing existing surfaces, removing baseboard trim, and leveling concrete and timber substrates.
Setting out standard points correctly to ensure flooring runs parallel to all walls and joinery
Measuring the site, cutting, and fixing underlay materials.
Installing various types of timber flooring, including floorboards, staircases, and parquetry timber flooring.
Repairing and rectifying flooring problems
Securing floor coverings and fitting edge trims in doorways.
Finishing works by sanding, staining, and applying finishing coatings to timber floors.
About you
AQF Certificate IV Qualification, or equivalent, or at least three years experience in a similar role
Full driver’s license
White Card
Willingness to work in a team
